Dr. MANOJ KUMAR SARKAR, IFS OFFICER

( Educational Qualifications )

Dr. Sarkar did his M.Sc. in Geography from Presidency college, Calcutta University and M.Sc. in Forestry, from Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun; MBA / PGPPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and management. He did his Ph.D. in Botany at Bharathidasan University, Trichy and his thesis was highly commanded by the authorities.

This was one of the happy moments when I was awarded with the prestigious” United Writer Association Effulgent Star of the Decade Award “for 2012-2013 by UWA at CHENNAI for my Contribution in Forestry Landscape and works on Endemic & Threatened Medicinal plants of India. I was receiving the Award from Dr. R. Subhramaniam Gandhi, Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India in a Grand Function organized at CHENNAI on 16th June, 2014
